Unfortunately, the fickle weather has once again hit our upcoming event. The wind forecast has been creeping up in intensity all week, and last night it hit the no fly point where our best recourse is to delay the event.

I sincerely apologize to those of you that have made plans around the day. I know how frustrating this is, but with 25 mph gusts, I don't expect anyone would be flying either way.

After consulting with the board, the event key volunteers and taking a quick poll on Slack, it seems our best alternate date will be July 9th. (Sunday is not only Father's Day, but its wind forecast has started creeping up as well. There is a competing weekend long event next weekend, and the weekend after that is the 4th.)

Hope to see you all on the revised date, July 9th, and hopefully the weather will accommodate us better.
